Our redesigned website provides easier access to membership information, upcoming training opportunities, association news, and events. The Central Illinois Fire Investigators Association (CIFIA) is dedicated to promoting excellence in fire investigation through professional education, training, and collaboration throughout Central Illinois.

Our association brings together fire investigators and other professionals in the fire investigation community to share knowledge, develop skills, and advance the field of fire investigation.

Membership Information

Current Members:

With the launch of our new website, existing CIFIA members are encouraged to register and establish their online membership profiles. In addition to maintaining their membership, this will provide access to exclusive members-only resources, including meeting minutes, continuing education tracking, CIFIA CE hours certificate requests, and notifications of upcoming meetings, training opportunities, and association events.

2027 Membership Dues:

Beginning in December 2026, members may register through the new website and pay their 2027 annual membership dues. The registration fee represents your annual CIFIA membership dues, not an additional website fee. Memberships will now renew annually on the anniversary of registration rather than at the beginning of each calendar year.
